    The Lions Clubs of of District 24-A serve the counties of Arlington, Culpeper, Fairfax, King George, Loudoun, Prince William, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Westmoreland and the independent cities of Alexandria, Fairfax City, Falls Church, Manassas, Manassas Park, Fredericksburg, and the towns of Colonial Beach, Culpeper, Dumfries, Haymarket, Herndon, Leesburg, Occoquan, Purcellville, Round Hill, Vienna, Quantico and Warrenton.

    In our continuing effort to provide help to the communities we serve, special telephone help hotlines are provided by your local Lions Clubs. The following is a list of the help hotline numbers. In addition, other agencies assist some of the Lions Clubs in providing help; they also appear in this list.It is requested that persons requiring help call a telephone help line for their locale. This will result in obtaining help in a more timely manner. However, all Clubs are committed to assistant all persons requesting help no matter which of these numbers are used.

When leaving a message on the voice mail system, speak slowly and clearly. It is requested that you provide the following information.

A breif description of the help required
Best time of day to contact you

Your message will be relayed to a Lions Xlub serving your area. A Lions representative of a Lions Club will contact you. Occasionally, due tounforeseen difficulties (insufficient or incorrect information, vocal  mail malfunction, etc.) we may be unable to contact you. If after a reasonable amount of time you do not receive a return call, please call the help hotline again.

        The Mason Neck Lions Club, in conjuction, with other Lions Clubs in Northern Virginia, maintains a 24 hour, voice mail telephone     hotline. The telephone number is 703-339-1669.

    The Sterling Lions Club maintains a 24 hour, voice mail telephone hotline. The telephone number is 703-723-0077.

    The Prince William County Lions Clubs maintains a 24 hour, voice mail telephone hotline. The telephone number is 703-335-5400

    The Fauquier County Lions Clubs provides assistance through the Fauquire County Health Department as follows:
   
    Persons requiring assistance in obtaining eye examinations, eyeglasses or hearing aids should contact the Fauquier County Health Department. They will complete the necessary forms. The Health Department will then inform the individual which Lions Club in Fauquier should recieve the forms. The telephone number for this service is 540-347-6400.

    Persons requiring help in obtaining cataract surgery should contact the Fauquier County Health Department of Social Services. They will help you complete the necessary forms and inform you of the appropriate Lions Club. The telephone number for this service is 540-347-2316.
